“ This was the BEST experience of my life. On b that John was tuahing. In simpler terms, that ish was bussin G! I ordered plain noodles, but hey what can I say, I like my noodles like I like my bread! Anyways, might have ben the BEST food I've ever eaten, and I've had plain bread and water before! Now that's saying something! Overall, the service and ambiance were also great. I love everything about this place. Overall, 5 starts. ”
“ Came here on a Sunday evening and it was very crowded inside. The music was quite loud but it was lively and the setting and ambiance is nice. The service was okay and was a little bit slow. The drinks were really good and pretty. The presentation of all the food and drinks in general was super aesthetic! We had bread and ordered bruschetta as our appetizer. The bread was very soft and went well with the olive oil. The bruschetta came in 4 large pieces and was really good and the tomatoes were fresh. The spaghetti as the main course was super creamy and cheesy as well. Tiramisu for dessert was yummy too. The quantity of all the food was perfect in my opinion. ”
“ I visited Bottega in the Mission District to celebrate a friend's graduation on Saturday night. We made a reservation and got seated shortly after. The ambiance was impressive and the vibes were great. This spot is decorated nicely with florals and neon signs. The portions are not too small and I thoroughly enjoyed my pasta. We also ordered cocktails but they were on the sweeter side. Definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants in SF! ”
“ Came here without a reservation on a busy Saturday night but got seated without having to wait long. The interior of this place is really nice but if you're an introvert like me, I wasn't prepared for the photographers and different tables who has large groups celebrating. The service was really efficient despite how busy they are. We really enjoyed the brussel sprouts and their pastas. Would probably come back on a weekday to enjoy a much calmer vibe. ”
“ *Vegetarian Foodie Review* Italian Food Heaven in South SF! Craving Italian food, we stumbled upon this gem in South SF. The reviews and pics looked amazing, and we're so glad we tried it! First, I loved seeing plenty of vegetarian options, even though they're not clearly marked on the menu. We ordered: - Build Your Own Pasta for my 4-year-old: Rigatoni with tomato-Alfredo sauce. It was OUT OF THIS WORLD! My toddler devoured half, and my husband and I finished the rest. - Mezzelune Al Porcini: Ravioli with mushrooms and black truffle cream. Unique, delicious, and a game-changer for vegetarian options! - "Sweet Dreams" non-alcoholic drink (watermelon juice, orange juice, and lemonade). My 4-year-old loved it, and we hardly got a chance to taste it! We also wanted to try Tiramisu, but unfortunately, they were out of it. Tips: - Join the Yelp waitlist 40 minutes before arriving, especially on weekends. We waited only 10 minutes to get a table since we joined the waitlist online! Ambiance: - Cozy, small, and fancy, with great music and well-utilized space. - Instagram-worthy spots: loved the different signs and decor, perfect for taking nice pics! Service: - Our order took about 15-20 minutes to arrive, which was fairly okay considering it was a weekend and they were super busy. - Knowledgeable server suggested the Mezzelune Al Porcini, and it was a hit! - They sang Happy Birthday to my toddler and brought a complimentary dessert! Other highlights: - Complimentary focaccia bread and flavorful chili sauce (which paired surprisingly well with the bread!) Definitely returning to try more vegetarian dishes and that elusive Tiramisu! ”
“ We had the best valentines dinner date- I'm really glad I got in the online line because there was a line of people trying to get a seat that stretched far past the door when we got here but for good reason. I've never had pasta so good and the ambience was soooo nice. Props to the staff because it was so insanely busy but they were on top of it and everyone was moving so fast. I got the salmon fettuccine and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten and I'm not even a huge pasta fan. ”
“ This restaurant was a 10000000/10 everyone was so friendly and hospitable everything was perfect the food was amazing I totally recommend the salmon fettuccine and the desserts were divine and delicious not super sweet which was perfect !!! And the decorations are so cute and aesthetic perfect I would give them my social security these people are so nice I trust them with my life !!! ”
“ We arrived on a Friday night at around 5pm and thankfully we skipped the dinner rush! Their aesthetic plates drew me in but I was a bit underwhelmed with the food. We tried their truffle risotto special which was on the milder side of truffle so I'd say it was about 3.5/5. The flavor was slightly bland imo and could've had a bit more salt. The calamari was decent but not the best I've had. It was also a 3.5/5 the calamari itself was very soft but the breading wasn't as crispy as I'd like it to be. I tried the pink vodka pasta with sausages and it was alright as well. The pasta was a bit too hard for my liking and the pink sauce needed a tad bit more flavor. The sausage was also kinda hard and I'd prefer a softer textured sausage. This dish was a 3.5/5. TLDR: I'd give this spot a 3.5/5. The atmosphere, environment, and service was great but the food fell a bit short for my liking. ”
